Would it be really weird to send a man flowers for an anniversary?

Nope, wouldn%26#039;t be weird. Send %26#039;em on....

Would it be really weird to send a man flowers for an anniversary?
No not at all. I send my husband flowers a lot and he loves it. I just pick out something that a bit masculine like a bamboo plant or a arrangement of manly colors like oranges greens browns like fallish colors. Nothing to dainty. It is a wonderful thing to do for a man after all this is the 21st century and flowers ain%26#039;t just for woman anymore men love them just as well.
Reply:No today is my anniversary and I sent my husband roses and a ballon to to his work. I wanted to do something different. And he ended up sending me roses in return. (not what I was after)
Reply:I think that guys in general do not appreciate flowers as much as a woman. They might appreciate what you were trying to say by sending them but the flowers not so much. They will say they like them more to make you happy. I%26#039;m with the guy that says a best buy card or similar item. If you want to send him flowers send him flowers with a note for something later or a gift card attached. Good Luck
Reply:NO NOT AT ALL do it.......I did it 4 my boyfriend (now hubby) and he loved them. He was away on a business trip. He worked in a job that was partial to men BUT his work mates were very jealous. I would go 4 it. There is nothing wrong with it. My only thought was when ordering the flowers let them know it is 4 a man. The florist then no not to make the arrangement too pretty. When I rang my boyfriend the receptionist said he looked like a kid in a candy store. His eyes lit up and he loved them. He was really happy. Do it. He will love it.
Reply:Not at all! Men like for women to do nice things for them as well. I sent my husband flowers for our anniversary. He really enjoyed it, because no one had ever sent him flowers before.
Reply:Not weird but the response depends on your man. If you know he likes little reminders of your love and affection and will respond positively to whatever whenever , go ahead.

Just don%26#039;t forget the obligatory power-tool purchase....

Or to wear that nice negligee at bed time...

Or those other anniversary things....

;-)
Reply:No not at all. My wife sent me flowers to my work on our ann.
Reply:I don%26#039;t think so, I wouldn%26#039;t do it as the environment he works in he would just get ripped to shreds (very macho and male orientated) but I would buy him flowers and give them to him at home. I would look for something a bit unusual, perhaps masculine colours rather than pink, they do some fabulous blue roses which are really lovely.
Reply:No, it would be great...
Reply:Yes - men don%26#039;t like receiving girly things like flowers at work. If you must send it, send to his home where he can enjoy them in private. He will get hassled endlessly at work.
Reply:i have never send my boyfirend flowers but how nice thank you for the idea
Reply:Myself, and the other men I know would NOT like flowers. You can show affection very well with a gift card to Best Buy or Circuit City. Either that, or tickets to a sporting event or concert or something like that. Guys who say they like the flowers ARE LYING TO YOU!!!

What to get parents for their 30th anniversary, besides flowers and nothing too expensive and delivered?

my sister is getting flower delivered, i am at university and wanna spend about 30 pounds max and want to get them something different and hopefully delivered. Please help, thanks.

What to get parents for their 30th anniversary, besides flowers and nothing too expensive and delivered?
My son bought us tickets to proms in the park last year and flower show tickets this year. A fabulous treat that I would not have bought myself, he spent around £30. Why not get them tickets to go somewhere different that they would enjoy - theatre, musical, football match, opera or magazine subscription.

You can order on line and have them delivered.
Reply:30th wedding anniversary is pearl - maybe you could get them something along those lines. Even a photo frame with mother of pearl and put one fo their wedding photos in it!
Reply:good chocolate or a fruit basket (hamper set)
Reply:There are these websites where you can get personalized engraved gifts. I got my mom and dad some shot glasses with their names and year of the anniversary engraved on the front for about 40 bucks so try some research online and most of those place ship within 1-2 days
Reply:Well unfortunately 30Th is pearl and as your a student I know that%26#039;s and expensive gift, but hey your parents will understand, you get them a little some thing of what they both like..
Reply:Nothing expensive... Maybe you should give they a portrait with a picture of all the family (parents and kids)
Reply:Go onto the Cadbury%26#039;s website they have some great stuff.
Reply:Go and look around the shops and get some inspiration. How do we know what they like.
Reply:go to local paper and get a copy of the paper of the day they got married and they will reflect on what was going on the day they got hitched , shouldn%26#039;t be too expensive and quite deliverable too!
Reply:heres a list of traditional gifts:
