4th wedding anniversary? fruit and flowers?
hi, what about a cherry blossom tree or pear tree, both bllom at this time of year. If they don%26#039;t have a garden then something made from rosewood .

I love the fruit arrangement idea too.

Reply:A romantic style picnic basket with gourmet stuff, a chilled bottle of wine, and some fresh fruit you yourself have hand-picked would be just fine.
Reply:How about an edible arrangement? These are generally fruits cut into flower shapes and then arranged like classic centerpieces. They%26#039;re as pretty as flowers, but you get to eat them instead of watching them die!
Reply:Just get them a card, and _maybe_ a bottle of wine or some flowers. Unless it%26#039;s a big one like 25 or 50 years, anniversary gifts from friends are not necessary.
Reply:Why not make an arrangement with a few pieces of fruit, bottle of wine, cork screw and two wine glasses and then fill the basket in with flowers? This will give them something to enjoy that night or the night after.
Reply:You could get them a fruit bowl that you have made an arrangement of fruit in and you could put a bag of flour in there as a bit of a joke. Also there are things like http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Contemporary...

this on amazon that are quite uniquie

One month anniversary.... flowers overdoing it?

Is it too much to get a girl flowers for a one month anniversary?

Although we%26#039;ve only %26quot;officially%26quot; been together for a month, we%26#039;ve actually been dating and whatnot for about 9 months, which kind of makes me think I should get something for her.

One month anniversary.... flowers overdoing it?
It is never to early for flowers. I have been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years and have NEVER gotten flowers :( He%26#039;s just not that kind of guy, I get over it. His friend started sending a girl flowers DAILY before they had been %26quot;officially%26quot; together which I thought would have been a little much. Honestly it depends, there are some girls who don%26#039;t like flowers, so just make sure she isn%26#039;t one of them first.

The best thing to do is, if you don%26#039;t already know, find out what her favorite flower is and get them for her. It really never is to early in a relationship, or to late as I keep reminding my boyfriend, to get a girl flowers.
Reply:That would be perfect. Take her on a date.
Reply:You go boy ! Not sure how serious you are ...but when I was courting my wife I put 5 or 6 lil notes in the tulip buds so when they opened all the way up there was a note describing something else that I loved about her. It took a few days for her to get them all but it made her day for like 3 straight and it cost me nothing extra....:)
Reply:indeed get her something, but a dozen red roses would be a bit over kill, because then when valentines day comes around the dozen roses will just be another dozen roses....get her a pretty mixed set of flowers from a local florist that is a nice size, not so big she can hide behind it, not to small it consists of a petal and stem...lol....a nice arrangement with a bit of baby%26#039;s breath,
Reply:Not at all!! Flowers are a great idea :)
Reply:She%26#039;ll be very pleased that you want to mark an anniversary this year. How sweet of you to be so attentive!
Reply:Flowers are never overdoing it with women. They are the perfect gift. They are simple, yet thoughtful. Get her a nice bouquet of all different types of flowers. Good Luck and congrats.
Reply:hehehe.....you must be very young or very in love....I remember the,%26quot;one month%26quot; anniversaries.

Flowers are fine.....but just remember, you are starting something here....two months....three months, etcetera, etcetera.
Reply:That%26#039;s very sweet! Flowers would be perfect and maybe a card too. Nothing too mushy. Keep it simple.
Reply:No it%26#039;s not. I think that%26#039;s very nice of you.

Note - No red roses unless you already said %26quot;I love you%26quot;. :)
Reply:That%26#039;s not overdoing it. I think it%26#039;s sweet!
Reply:No thats perfect.. your not over-doing it.. like if you whipped out a diamond ring or something that would be over-doing it. but this is the right thing too get for the occassion and time length ... have fun !
Reply:It depends on the girl. I mean everyone loves flowers, so I would. But don%26#039;t do that scary thing of buying flowers for every monnthly anniversary. ;)
Reply:she would love that!! its not overdoiung it because initially u two been dating for over nine months
Reply:flowers are perfect, complete it with a trip to the cinema.
Reply:Flowers are always appreciated! It%26#039;s not overdoing it at all.
Reply:that would be really cute and i know she will love it!
Reply:Just flowers? I guess would be ok if was a dozen roses, not some cheap grocery store flowers.
