Help...Flowers are late for 50Th Anniversary cake & centerpieces?

I purchased 6+ dozen roses online to put on the wedding cake, and to use for centerpieces. FedEx didn%26#039;t deliver them on time, now they say the roses are still 1300 miles away, and they MIGHT be here today.

The party is tomorrow.

I need an inexpensive backup plan in case they don%26#039;t arrive. I don%26#039;t want a naked wedding cake, and 10 empty vases.

Any ideas?

I hope that they get there to you! If not I would definately hit up a wholesale store like BJs or Costco. Their flowers are usually beautiful and they usually sell them in bouquets of 2 dozen that are cheaper than a dozen else where/
Reply:Best thing I can tell you at this late time, is to hit every grocery store in your area.
Reply:Flowers at the grocery store are much less expensive than ordering on internet. I order a lot of flowers, so trust me you can save money by going to the store and getting them.

Good Luck
Reply:u should have gone with UPS
Reply:after 50 years, i%26#039;m sure they have went through bigger problems.
Reply:Unless you just have to use real flowers; I would go with silk flowers. They are beautiful and inexpensive. It sounds like you might have already made a considerable investment in the original order and the silk flowers would save you a little and look just as good.
